The ORS Outplacement and Career Transition model addresses issues for management, redundant staff and 'survivors' to support the achievement of an organisation's productivity/reform initiatives.
The following flexible range of services is available for each group.

Management

  • Organisational analysis

  • Developing rationale statements
  • Identification of and advising those affected by redundancy
  • Stress & wellness management services
  • Change Management Consulting & Facilitation and Training

Redundant staff

  • Career transition workshops
  • Provision of a career transition centre
  • Employee support services pre and post advice of redundancy
  • One to one counselling/case management services in the following formats:
    1. Redeployee continues to work for an organisation whilst in job search mode or making other lifestyle choices such as early retirement or self employment

    2. Redeployee ceases employment and accesses ORS services

    3. Redeployee is located at the ORS Career Transition Centre
  • Provision of skills and transferable skills analysis
  • Skills update: training advice/coaching to raise skills to a competitive level
  • Placement and brokering services
  • Psychological assessment
  • Counselling services including employee assistance service for individuals and their significant others to adjust to the transition process at and after notification of redundancy

Survivors

Services for 'survivors' can include a range of support to assist in all aspects of maximising the potential of the new organisation and its individuals.

  • Assistance in the field of organisational psychology
  • Individualised or group services to facilitate positive morale and adjustment to change including employee support and stress management
