Apprenticeships & Traineeships

ORS Training Solutions is a provider of funded Traineeships via Jobs and Skills WA.

You can do an apprenticeship or traineeship if you are a school-leaver, re-entering the workforce or as an adult worker simply wishing to change careers. You can even begin your apprenticeship or traineeship while you’re still at school in years 11 and 12.

Find a career path that suits you

Check out the Career development section of the Department of Training and Workforce Development website, or talk to the Jobs and Skills WA Centre about finding an occupation and career path that will give you the future you’d like.

The Jobs and Skills WA website can help you decide what sort of work or career would suit you, and can help with information about whether an apprenticeship or traineeship is the right path for your career.

You could also look at the Try it For Five and occupational videos on the Jobs and Skills WA YouTube channel to find out more about different jobs and what they involve.

Talk to an AASN provider or employer

There are a number of Australian Apprenticeship Support Network providers funded by the Commonwealth Government. These AASNs can provide advice and assistance to help you find an apprenticeship or traineeship and are connected to employers looking for apprentices or trainees. Once you’ve found an apprenticeship or traineeship, your AASN will organise everything to get you started.

When you finish your apprenticeship or traineeship you will have a nationally recognised qualification that’s held in high regard in many overseas countries as well.
