Our Purpose (why we exist): “To provide services that work”

ORS has been in the business of making a difference to people with disability and injuries for more than 25 years! ORS provides a range of allied health, workplace rehabilitation and employment services across key industries such as the NDIS, Workers Compensation, Health, Injury Prevention and Aged Care.

Our service delivery is underpinned by clinically informed, evidence based and person-centered practices which empower others to reach their potential and achieve their goals.

We improve lives by making a difference through every interaction

“Yael has been amazing and literally saved me! She is supportive, listens and assists me to acknowledge the victories in my days. The exercises and worksheets have been really helpful along with follow on services. Yael has a calming demeanour which is also uplifting. I can’t recommend her enough! Thank you from the bottom of my heart!”

We are a registered NDIS provider, ISO 9001 and NSDS certified, Comcare accredited, and are on major workplace rehabilitation panels including: icare, Department of Veterans Affairs, ACT Government, Defence Housing Australia, and Worksafe ACT. We are members of the Australian Association for Rehabilitation Counsellors (ASORC), Australian Rehabilitation Providers Association (ARPA), Association for Positive Behaviour Support and National Disability Services (NDS).

We employ a wide range of Allied Health professionals including experienced and accredited Occupational Therapists, Psychologists, Physiotherapists, Exercise Physiologists, Rehabilitation Counsellors, Behaviour Support Practitioners and Registered Nurses who have experience working with complex and high needs clients across all age ranges and disability/injury presentations. A large percentage of our Consultants are culturally and linguistically diverse (32%) with many who also speak other languages including Mandarin, Cantonese and Arabic.

ORS proudly employs people with lived experience of disability and with family members with lived experience; and people who identify as LGBTIQA.
