Most workers want to be doing their best work, but the environment they’re working can often present a barrier.

If you feel that your office or home workstation or work tools could be improved to reduce physical or mental strain, improve your comfort and, consequently, your performance, an ergonomic assessment could be the answer. One of our qualified staff can visit your office or home to assess how you fit and move within your workspace while considering the tasks you need to perform and the tools and equipment you use. At the time of the assessment, we will work with you and your employer to make and recommended changes to your setup and work practices to optimise your work efficiencies and performance while minimising the load on your body. In a comprehensive report of the assessment, we will outline any further recommendations that were identified during the assessment.

Our ergonomic services are supported by our injury prevention and wellness services and customised training in office health (including ergonomics) for staff, one day leaders program in ergonomics for managers and other wellness training programs.

Organisations can access funding for workplace modification assessments for employees with a health condition or disability through the Australian Government’s Employment Assistance Fund (EAF)

The EAF helps people with disability, illness or mental health condition by providing financial assistance to purchase a range of work related modifications and services from simple assistive devices to building modifications. Assistance is available for people who are job seeking, about to start a job or currently working. The ORS Group is on the panel of providers and has vast experience in assessing workplaces to meet the needs of people with a disability, illness or mental health condition.
