ORS Training Solutions is a member of the Central Coast Apprenticeships and Traineeships Advisory Committee (CCATAC) with our National RTO Manager serving as Chairperson, Vice Chairperson and Secretary on the Executive Committee for over 10 years.
Try A Skill
ORS Training Solutions sponsors and assists in the coordination and running of the Central Coast Try A Skill event annually.
The event offers a unique and exciting opportunity for students from years 9 & 10 and early school leavers from JobActive providers to get some hands on experience in over 40 different vocations and trades. Try a Skill endeavours to assist these students to make informed decisions about their future career choices.
Try A Skill is coordinated by a partnership of Central Coast organisations, including, Central Coast Regional GTO Network, Worldskills and Hunter TAFE NSW.
National Skills Week
National Skills Week is held annually to recognise, celebrate and inform students and the wider public of the diversity, benefits and achievements associated with Vocational Education and Training (VET).
ORS Training Solutions get involved each year by participating in community events. For 2016 we held and open day at our RTO office which gave everyone the opportunity to get to know more on what we offer and discuss vocational options
ORS proudly participates in the Friendly Nation Initiative (FNI). FNI is a business led strategy that amongst other things, aims to increase training and employment of refugees and build partnerships between corporate Australia and settlement services so as to enhance overall integration outcomes.
