What is Psychology and Therapeutic Support and how can we help?
Psychology services provide therapeutic supports, counselling and EAP to facilitate self-knowledge, emotional acceptance and growth in a one to one session. Therapy assists participants to work towards their personal goals and gain greater insight into their lives.
Our experienced Psychologists and Counsellors are able to provide an extensive therapy supports due to their broad qualifications (including many with PhD’s, Doctorates and Masters Qualifications), wide-ranging experience and our internal professional development program. ORS employs AHPRA registered Psychologists and Clinical Psychologists, and ACA registered Counsellors. Use our referral form or call us today to see how we can help.
Psychology and therapeutic support services can be funded by the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS), Employer Assistance Programs (EAP), Employment/Disability Services Providers, My Aged Care, Medicare, WAPHA and privately. For EAP customers, access to the EAP Portal is free for staff and management.
The ORS group also provides a range of forensic services to clients, with specialist expertise in supporting clients who have a cognitive impairment and forensic history. These services are focused on individuals who are at risk of being involved in the criminal justice system or are already involved in the justice system and who require forensic counselling (aimed at preventing or reducing risk, addressing offending behaviour and improving life skills for successful community living). ORS can also provide comprehensive risk assessments for evaluating client and community safety including treatment recommendations or for court purposes; and Section 32 reports for court to determine the link between cognitive impairment and offending behaviour. The ORS group has staff who have specialised forensic training and experience and who deliver services incorporating Good Lives Model and Risk Needs Responsivity frameworks with a focus on trauma informed care, strengths based and person centred practices.
