Personal Helpers and Mentors (PHaMs)

Transitioning to NDIS

Supporting people with Mental Illness in their employment journey

Assistance for people with Mental Illness

ORS provide support to people with disability through the Personal Helpers and Mentors (PHaMs) program in WA and NSW which will be transitioning to NDIS by July 2019.

The Personal Helpers and Mentors program (PHaMs) is a government-funded initiative that offers personalised support to people whose lives have been severely impacted as a result of mental illness. As a PHaMs Employment program provider in WA and NSW, we offer employment support to participants wanting to engage in work. Our Personal Helpers and Mentors work closely with participants along each step of the recovery journey. We recognise that there is no ‘one size fits all’ approach to recovery and make sure you receive tailored assistance and access to services that suit your own goals, values and strengths.

Our focus is to put participants at the centre of their recovery journey.
