 Employee Assistance Program (EAP) Counselling

Both personal and work-related difficulties can affect an individual’s performance at work, so it’s important to have access to confidential help at an early stage, to deal with potential issues promptly and effectively. Employee Assistance Programs (EAP) are funded by employers to enable their employees to access counselling services 24/7 to maximise work performance.

Our EAP services are provided by Registered Psychologists who have the counselling skills and experience to help your employees and their families address any issues that are causing stress and potentially impacting their work performance. They are experienced in supporting people with the following concerns:

Critical Incident Response

Vocational Assessments & Counselling

Sometimes injured workers are not able to return to their pre-injury work. In these cases it is important to quickly find an alternative job role or industry that aligns with their physical and psychological capabilities as well as their workplace skills, experience and education.

ORS Psychologists are highly experienced in working within the Workers’ Compensation system to help injured workers identify suitable alternative job roles that align with medical recommendations and personal capabilities. Each assessment is tailored to the worker, with a number of possibilities suitable to be presented to key stakeholders for approval. In some instances a full assessment is not required and some vocational counselling sessions will be enough to help the injured worker identify suitable alternatives.
