What is Workplace Rehabilitation and how can we help?
Workplace rehabilitation providers deliver services to employees and employers under the workers compensation scheme in a cost-effective, timely and proactive manner to achieve a safe and durable return to work. Through our case management model we monitor and review the progress of actions, programs and goals in consultation with the employee, employer, insurer, treating health professionals and any other relevant medical provider.
ORS is an approved Rehabilitation Provider under the Heads of Workers Compensation Authorities (HWCA) Nationally Consistent Approval Framework for Workplace Rehabilitation Providers, and are members of the Australian Association for Rehabilitation Counsellors (ASORC) and the Australian Rehabilitation Providers Association (ARPA).
Being a National provider, we can deliver services across ACT, NSW and WA. Employing a large range of experienced and registered/accredited Rehabilitation Consultants including: Psychologists, Rehabilitation Counsellors, Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists and Exercise Physiologists who effectively manage a caseload of clients to return to work.
ORS is Comcare accredited and is on panels with: icare, Department of Veterans Affairs, ACT Government, Defence Housing Australia, and Worksafe ACT. ORS also assist employers to manage their workplace rehabilitation and injury management needs independent of these schemes. Injury prevention services can also be provided through our EAP and Occupational Therapy departments to provide counselling and ergonomic assessments.
